As indicated in the title, you will find in this webpage a ranking of the 10 top research center (according to the average of citation per paper)

Cold Spring Harbor Lab is number on with an average of 91 citations per paper Shocked
It seems that Boston is the place to be for research. If someone find a similar link with more than top10, it will be interesting.
